Bruno’s Truffels

Amazing food! Always a pleasure to eat. The yearly range is top quality with breads, biscuits and chocolates. The festive selection is incredible – best fruit mince pies, Easter chocolates, and hot cross buns.

I thought Bruno was over stating the quality of his bread, but it really is the best in Canberra. I ate the whole loaf of rye and half the loaf of olive bread in one afternoon. Delicious.

Delicious and authentic. Not only is this place scrupulously clean, but Bruno has very high meticulous standards for his ingredients and the making of his pastries, bread, chocolates and honey. Ask him if he’s there and he will wax lyrically about the care he takes in making sourdough bread the traditional way, the bees he cares for with his local honey and the delicious quiches and pastries he makes. I’ve enjoyed coming here for several years after being introduced to it by a long time fan, and it never disappoints.

Been coming for years. Have compared everywhere, still the best. It is always top level pastries, bread and truffles. Everything is hand made and crafted on premises. So happy to be a longstanding local.

On top of the usual chocolates and pastries (which are amazing!), Bruno’s has just released soaps which are incredible! Definitely would recommend: 11/10

Best artisan bread in Canberra! Great selection of pastries, and the brioche buns and chocolates are excellent too.
